Hellerwork Structural Integration
Eric completed a 750 hr. certification course in Massage Therapy in Sedona, Arizona from the Arizona School of Integrated Studies in 1999. In 2000 he moved to Santa Cruz, California to study Acupuncture at Five Branches School of Oriental Medicine. After completing 2 years of Acupuncture, he moved to Vermont to begin a family. He has been living in the Montpelier Area since 2002. He invented a tool for cleaning motorcycle chains which afforded him the privilege of being a stay at home dad.
In 2014 Eric chose to reenter the healing arts field in order to be more involved in the local community and continue developing his craft as a hands-on health practitioner. He graduated from a 1025 hr. Structural Integration certification course in February 2017 and is Certified Hellerwork Practitioner. He is a member of The International Association of Structural Integration and The American Bodywork and Massage Association.
Eric chose to study and practice Hellerwork Structural Integration because it is a powerful, unique and effective bodywork modality. Through its holistic approach, Hellerwork sessions combine deep tissue bodywork, movement education, and awareness dialogue to identify and resolve unhelpful patterns ingrained in the connective tissue of the body. Clients experience improvement in their postural alignment, relief from chronic pain, increased range of motion and a heightened sense of ease in their body.
Eric is excited to be a part of River Street Wellness and to offer Hellerwork as a complementary health care option to people in our community who currently are experiencing pain, poor posture, movement restrictions, or to anyone who just wants to feel better.
Eric resides in Middlesex with his 2 daughters, 3 cats, a dog and a small flock of chickens. You can find more information about Hellerwork on his website.
